How long have you been doing pole dancing?
I have been Pole Dancing for a little over two years now. I started dancing January 2011 at Studio Soiree in Salt Lake City Utah.
The moment you realized you love pole dancing?
The moment I touched it! 😀 I was addicted, my first class was an Intermediate/ Advanced level class with Lorinda Kay as my instructor and it kicked my ass! After that I was hooked- you couldn’t pry me off it. I was black and blue everywhere with little to no skin left and loved every second!
Describe your style.
I usually perform a more carefree style, and I just focus on the fun of pole. I like to push my limits and break out of my comfort zone every now and then. My favorite style is tricksy and daredevilish!
Favorite move?
OOOH I have lots! There are always new moves that I want to learn and want to master, and the hardest ones that take the most effort are usually my favorite! I love drops!
I do have to say I love my two signature moves, the contorted remi-bridge, and the reverse rainbow (swan).
Tools of the trade, what can’t you live without when pole dancing?
Chicken! Lol!! (I eat a lot of chicken)
Dry Hands, Dew Point, fun pole clothes (yay Bad Kitty), and danceable music!
Any hobbies or passions outside of pole dancing?
Yoga, Acroyoga, Running, Hammock, and Contortion
Can’t live without? My snake! (Kinkee) she is my baby, and probably the cutest lil snake ever!
What is your daily exercise regimen?
DON’T STOP! I do pole at least 2-3 hours daily, and stretch around 1-2 hours as well. For cross training I switch between running, and Acroyoga!
Growing up I wanted to be a…..
Heart Surgeon! I was always fascinated by the human heart and loved learning anatomy.
My knowledge of anatomy has actually helped me a ton in learning and teaching pole and contortion. I like knowing what muscles I am using, stretching, the way they all work together, and how to access their strength.
